Born in Louisiana, I was raised on family, friends, football, and great food. I also developed an early interest in design and drawing. Clean lines called to me, so did college. I completed my college career with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Memphis with the concentrtion on Communication and Fine Arts. I have been an “Ad/Design Man” ever since. While lucky enough to work for some of best Agencies in GA, VA to NC, I have also continued to grow and design independently through this site. Now calling Raleigh, NC home, I live my life OFF THA PORCH and not laying around with the lazy dogs.
All projects start with a concept- a successful one starts with a Designer being able to identify the issues, isolate the problems and communicate the vision. Conceptual thinking is truly mastering creative thinking as a skill and then applying it to the customers vision. Absent the skill, you will get order-taking at best and will never elevate the project to its full potential.
Dating as far back as to cavemen depicting their adventurous stories on a cave wall, print work is still a fundamental element of design, despite the objections of the digital age. Unlike electronic presentations, the art of print stimulates the audience both on a visual and tactile plane. It also provides a sense of proof.
It's all about controlling the action of the viewer to unfold a story. Interactive solutions span wide- from websites to flash-drives, APPS to downloads, e- presentations to even the old CD format. It’s all about vision, direction, navigation, and designing the perfect informational architecture.
Telling ones story has changed over the years. With social media and growing technology, video has become one of the fastest way to get the story out. Now, anyone can make a video, but with professional help, you can catch the eye of the audience you are trying to reach.
